Bostik, a leading global adhesive specialist for construction, consumer and industrial markets, renewed its sponsorship of the Tour de France 2016 cycling event. As an official supplier to Tour de France, Bostik engaged the creative services of drawinginc to advertise their sponsorship throughout DIY stores across Europe.
As one of the world’s most iconic and popular sporting events, we wanted to bring that experience into the retail environment. the creative team proposed bringing the Arc de Triomphe (one of the most famous monuments in Paris) in-store in order to create visual impact. As part of the consumer engagement, a competition was developed with the opportunity to win a branded Bostik bicycle. Not every DIY store has the floor area and ceiling height to display large display systems. Therefore, we developed smaller units to suit stores with less space for free standing display systems.
All marketing and competition collateral was built into the display unit including the traditional french style post box. A functional post box to accommodate the entry forms for the completion. The campaign was roll-out in five languages across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Ireland.
